I leave for Florence in exactly one week. My thoughts are exciting, enchanting, so close, and yet so far away. While I am more than ready to take on new adventures, new insights, and new perspectives, I'm still not letting a day go by without squeezing every last drop of my San Francisco Summer onto my tongue. Exploring is exhausting, and it can make you feel a little loopy at times (well, me at least). Today, a few wonderful friends and I spent our time exploring the sunny side of our city, and covered quite a lot of ground. We discovered the a street equivalent to the twists of Lombard, enjoyed Mr & Ms Miscellaneous ice cream ( I got Lavender!), visited a British grocery store, gwaked at gorgeous views from Bernal Heights and Russian Hill, sipped tea at the Atlas Cafe, people watched, and basked in the sun. I'll only be gone for four months, which leaves plenty of time to love ya later SF!
