Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Our lives were uncannily parallel before we even knew each other. But somehow, with just the right help from the wind, we landed on the same patch of San Francisco soil. The past week has been a much needed therapeutic vacation. Peace and warmth found me even in the chilling Minnesota air, filling my pockets and crawling into my socks. With only one month left of being teenagers, we abused it to its full advantage. Tattoos, a symbol to each other. The cemetery, grounds for golden inspiration. Flurries, a name I learned for the fragile falling snow.

Thank you. I can't say it enough.

Desperately Seeking Clarity

For the longest time I was stuck on the idea of seeking clarity. For a while I didn't even know what that meant. However, after recent events I've come to the revelation that clarity is simply not something you can ever find. You will not see it in anyone you meet, you will not discover it in any place you go, you  can't find it in a book, a film or even a song. Clarity is nowhere to be found. I've come to believe that clarity is simply something you create. It's something inside yourself. You must create clarity for yourself by clearing out the attic of unimportance in your mind. Clarity is there, stop looking for it and let yourself fall into it.

Refreshed and Reminded

So, I sort of forgot about this little gem. It's refreshing, in a weird kind of way, to go back inside the thoughts in my head a year ago. It's like talking to a past self. I like the idea of blogging. But more so, I like the idea of becoming better at writing and practicing putting my thoughts into pretty words. I like the idea of keeping a journal that maybe I'll forget about again. The idea of freezing my thoughts, my emotions, my revelations.

So, this is for me. So I can remember. And so I can watch the process of my mind change with time.
